Winter is my favorite time of the year. It's my reprieve from the holiday stress as it takes out the old and brings in the new leaving me with peace and harmony in my world.
I live in Onalaska, Wisconsin with my husband and two Shih Tzu. I enjoy crafting, reading and spending time with my family. I started writing about eleven years ago and get much of my inspiration from my nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Several years ago, I took an online course in children's writing where I was published in several magazines.. This led me to branch out into poetry, non-fiction and fiction, thus starting my worldly adventure that writing is a journey, not a destination.
When I'm not writing I am working with my sightless Shih Tzu, Shah'kah. He is my constant companion and reminder that we can accomplish whatever goals we set for ourselves.
Currently, I am awaiting a publication date for my first 21st century paranormal romance, titled SWEET BLOOD.
I am now working on a special non-fictional book on how I came to be raising a blind dog. The book is titled, BLIND LEADING the BLIND.

- In 2013 I published my poetry e-book, LEGENDS & DREAMS & REALITY anthology of the Gold Prospecting which can found only on Smashwords.
- In 2010 I published another poetry book, HEAVENLY ANGELS AMONG US that is still available through iUniverse and other online stores.
- In 2008 I wrote a tried and true "green" cookbook on Solar Cooking titled, OVER THE HILL COOK'IN Solar Cooking/Baking Cookbook.
