I wrote this after watching a video. At the time, there was a civil
war going on in Ivory coast (West African country) and there were a
lot of people getting killed. I was told the video was taken there. I
am from West Africa, so I found the scene particularly disturbing and
maybe that's what moved me to write this . I later found out the
particular incident was actually in Congo. Still, it's a shame such
atrocities go on happening.
