With pregnancy being one of the greatest moments of a woman's life, the
birth of a still born child could possibly be the worst. I wanted to show the
emotional aspect of this without drowning the readers in sorrow. The original poem
was much longer, but after much revision, I decided saying less would definitely
hold more weight. I am pleased with the outcome and hope my words accurately
demonstrated what I was trying to do.
