It Was In Her Face I Saw It

A Realization ~ by Frank Cavano

"Her Face"- This piece developed while contemplating the sudden loss of a loved member of my wife's family of origin. Thinking about the power of her loss and her dynamic, giving personality, the boundless and eternal nature of life presented itself to me and the poem evolved.

"Poinsettias"- This is a reflection on aging and its effects on everyone but especially on my wife whose physical beauty when young is second only to her inner beauty and loving presence as an older woman without whom I am less than I seem to be.
